Flat Polyester Webbing Slings

Lliftek manufactures a wide range of Flat Webbing Slings made with high tenacity polyester webbing.

Slngs are manufactured wither to EN 1492-1-2000 with Safety Factor 7:1 or to BS 3481:PT2-1983 with Safety Factor of 6:1

We offer slings in MM system (i.e. 1”, 2”, 3” etc)

Eye Types

An eye cover forms an effective barrier between the lifting point and the load-bearing portion of the webbing sling in the eye resulting in improved safety and longer life. Unless specifically instructed by the customer, Liftek manufactures all slings with Type 1: Polyester Protected Eyes as shown below.

Eye Styles

Unless specifically instructed by the customer all slings are made with Class 2: Folded eyes.

Protection Sleeves

These enhance the life of lifting slings by protecting the load-bearing portion from impurities, rough surfaces and sharp edges. It also helps to increase the levels of grip on flat surfaces to prevent load slippage.

Flat Endless Slings

These are manufactured from a single thickness webbing sewn in a continuous loop with a overlap. These slings are mainly used when a wide grip is required on large equipment, eg. For lifting pipes. These slings have the sample capacity as double ply flat webbing slings.

Special Purpose Slings
